The 21st Anniversary Season of The International Ballet Theatre continues with a spectacular showcase of talent, passion, and dance. This weekend of performances will be a collection of classical ballet and contemporary dance pieces performed by guest artists and IBT company members.
 

SWAN LAKE

Dance theatre from its historical roots to its ever-evolving future. The dance company of International Ballet Theatre is honored to perform one of the most popular ballets of all time, Swan Lake. This ballet by Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky originally premiered in 1875, it will feature choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov and be staged by Ballet Master Vera Altunina.

 

Vera Altunina will also take this opportunity to share and celebrate dance with the dancers of IBT.  So, we are excited to open this event with A History of Ballet: Past and Future. This performance adds to this evenings experience of dance by portraying dance theatre from its classical roots to its ever-evolving and contemporary future.
