"A blend of artistry, magic, passion, and creativity..."
~Vera Altunina, Artistic Director

International Ballet Theatre's inventive and live theatrical performance brings the stage to life with DRACULA. IBT's DRACULA draws inspiration from Bram Stoker's 1897 gothic novel of the same name, transforming this classical novel into a work of visual art, and featuring a Classical Music soundtrack provided by three of the most popular composers of the late 1800’s, French composer, Charles Gounod, Argentinian composer, Astor Piazzolla and Romanian composer, George Enesco.

MEET THE GUEST ARTISTS IN IBT's DRACULA

International Ballet Theatre is incredibly privileged and excited to have the opportunity to share our stage with a diverse and exceptionally talented group of artists for this season’s performance of DRACULA. The anticipation of the curtains opening fills us with anticipation and excitement.

Guest Artists from The Houston Ballet

Nikita Baryshnikov
A native of Seattle, Washington, Mr. Baryshnikov trained with the International Ballet Academy, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, and Tanz Akademie Zürich. Nikita has won multiple awards, including the USA Dance Sport Championships in 2015 and 1st place in the Pas de Deux category at the Youth America Grand Prix in 2018. He joined the main company of the Houston Ballet in 2023 as an Apprentice and was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in July 2024.

Remie Madeleine Goins
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Ms Remie Madeleine Goins became an Apprentice of Houston Ballet after performing the Sleeping Beauty Pas de Deux on tour with Houston Ballet II. She has trained at the International City School of Ballet, the American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, and the Vaganova Ballet Academy.

Anastasia Popsulys
Anastasia's journey began in Ukraine, where she honed her skills as a professional rhythmic gymnast. Despite being forced to leave her home due to the war, she has continued to share her talent and passion with audiences across Europe, Asia, Israel, and America. She will bring her exceptional craft to our stage, where she will shine in IBT’s production of Dracula.

IBT's DRACULA engages the audience in a howling good time. However, we must warn you that this is not your typical boy finds girl Vampire Love Story. You might witness celebrations by village people lost in time, zombies that are both slithery and fashionable, tap-dancing demons, and Gypsy dance battles on the edge of town.

So, isn’t it time to get out of the house and into a dark theatre?
