IBT For Children presents Alice in Wonderland, a one-hour spectacle of pure wonder and dance. Based on Lewis Carroll’s “Adventure of Alice in Wonderland,” this production is a stimulating experience in the magical world of live theatre and dance. Recommended for younger children up to age 10, IBT For Children performances feature talented dancers from the International Ballet Academy, the preparatory school of the International Ballet Theatre.
An IBT For Children Production
At the International Ballet Theatre, we are firm believers in providing our younger generation access to the arts via dance. With this in mind, we created the IBT For Children program, where productions specifically designed for a younger audience are performed by their peers.
By witnessing unique stories and ballet performed by dancers their age, we hope that we may inspire the younger generation to look at dance and art in a positive and beautiful way. IBT for Children celebrates the experience of dance by providing our young dancers a stage from which to perform. '
Previous IBT for Children original productions have included Wizard of Oz and The Jungle Book, with our young dancers performing to sold out performances of moms, dads, brothers, sisters and dancers to be, while giving hundreds of families a chance to attend a live theatrical performance together.
